Hello fellow nature enthusiasts! My name is Rachel and I am the face behind this site. If you choose to stick around, you'll follow my eyes through woodlands, rivers, and just about any environment that allows my inner conservationist to thrive. About Me

Born in North Carolina and raised in Florida, I have always found solidarity in the natural beauty around the world. There are so many wonderfully wild wildernesses and my goal is to raise their eco awareness and elicit conservative action.

I love people. I love landscapes. I love life.

This site reflects my experience in nature via blog posts and photography. We all deserve the benefits of fresh air, adventure, and purity, so let's do something to conserve the Earth that was given to us. Let's do something for our own sake and for the lives yet to come.

It's about more than a feeling and more than a vision. It's about action.

The summer of 2017 I spent my final college semester working in Michigan's Isle Royale National Park. While working on the archipelago of Lake Superior I was also serving with A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP), where my role was to re-establish the ministry in our country's most isolated park.

Since 2017 I have begun my next adventure and am currently serving as an AmeriCorps Team Leader with Montana Campus Compact. Stay tuned to read about my Montanan adventures and role with AmeriCorps as I serve underprivileged kids.

If you are interested in the environment, servitude, really great websites, or a concoction of the three, then this is a site meant for you!
